Mare Island

Walking around Mare Island was definitely a new experience for me. I don't usually photograph abandoned buildings and naval shipyards. I was out of my comfort zone, but I got a lot of great practice and ended up with some photos that I'm really proud of. Now I have experience in a different environment, and I was able to find some plant life living in the asphalt.
