Rome, Italy

I'm starting to think about our next international trip, and I am tempted to go back to Rome! We stayed in an AirBNB down the street from the Trevi Fountain, and I loved every second of it. We could walk to the most amazing coffee shops and restaurants, and we were surrounded by history. I took a Roman architecture class in college, and I was surprised that I actually remembered a few things. I would definitely recommend taking a day trip to Ostia Antica. The ruins are stunning and the free Rick Stevens podcast was super informative (we also downloaded good ones for the Colosseum and the Pantheon). As I write this, I am craving some cacio e pepe and a glass of wine!
